Blue Cheese is Safe for a Gluten Free Diet

In the past, there has been concern that blue cheese which is made by using moldy bread to grow the culture is not safe for those on a gluten free diet.  That rumor should finally be put to rest. 

Following extensive testing on several types of blue cheese, The Canadian Celiac Association has determined that blue cheese is safe for those on a gluten free diet:

 Based on the most sensitive tests currently available on the market and our understanding of the minute amounts of mould spores used in the making of the cheese, we may conclude that blue cheese is safe for consumption as part of the gluten-free diet.

The Gluten Intolerant Group also list "veined cheese such as blue cheese" as safe for those on the gluten free diet.
